Hiking the "Valley of Fire" State Park and Beautiful Seven Wonders trail.
Stride up sandy creek-beds, tread over amazingly textured rocks and scramble up striated ridges to view other worldly landscapes in Valley of Fire State Park for a whole hour!
Almost all of this video is on the beautiful Seven Wonders trail, which covers a double-loop with some spurs and extras.
One highlight include the oft photographed Fire Wave, named for the flowing patterns of its multi-colored rocks.
Some of the surprising formations along the way look like organic architecture in the natural walls. Another peak moment finds you trekking through a beautiful, deep slot canyon of eroded sandstone fit with natural luminescence.
This trail is closed in the summer due to high heat so it was captured on a breezy day in the winter, also resulting in barely any other hikers around! Myriad caves, miniature arches and other unique rock formations keep your hike ever-interesting as you go. Are you up for it?
