It's the one and only "ROUTE 66 in ARIZONA"
Come get your kicks out west with an hour of American nostalgia on “The Mother Road”! Arizona has the longest, tastiest stretches of what’s left of world-famous Route 66 and you’ll get the whole diner menu of nostalgia here plus some kitschy dessert. Rt. 66, after all, goes hundreds of miles through dusty desert, so to keep it interesting we mixed together the best sights and stretches through towns like Williams, Seligman, Kingman, Flagstaff, and Holbrook and then you can “take it easy” in Winslow. The other half is mostly the well-preserved stretch of open road in the rugged mountains between Needles and Kingman to the town of Oatman, which is inhabited by burros (or infested, depending on your opinion of homeless jackasses). This twisty, narrow road has some fantastic western-U.S. landscapes that any avid traveler will appreciate. One hour long with a rockin’ ‘50’s and ‘60’s soundtrack including occasional Elvis impersonations and lonesome-desert country and blues.
