Marin California Coast
Just north of San Francisco’s golden gate bridge, the breathtaking coastline of Marin county is here for you to explore!
Start your scenic pedaling along pretty Keys Creek leading to Tamales Bay, where you’ll cruise through blazing yellow wildflowers and stands of tall eucalyptus trees then stop on the bay for oysters and some amazing views.
Next, crossing around the narrow bay you’ll head out to the lighthouse at the very end of Point Reyes National Seashore. Rolling green pastures with wild ocean views on both sides lead you down to protected beaches with some giant seasonal guests: elephant seals! You’ll visit Chimney Rock, Drake’s Beach, and wild, windy South Beach.
Continue the ride through the sylvan countryside from Olema along Bolinas Lagoon and then out again along the rugged tan cliffs of shoreline Highway past Slide Ranch to famous Muir Beach overlook. That’s quite an adventure for 60 minutes!
